HARLINGEN, Texas - Blogger Toni Chapa got some bad news Tuesday afternoon, when doctors at the federal detention facility where she is being held confirmed she has breast cancer. Chapa, a free-lance writer, is being detained after being arrested by immigration officials who charged her with entering the country illegally.
Chapa declined to tell reporters gathered at the facility whether she will okay excision of the lump or whether she will lump the lump and die gracefully.
"Her height, or lack of it, makes it an interesting decision," the doctor went on. "It's not like she needs sexy jugs, cause, well, my feeling is romance is something she's never known."
Chapa has written one story for The Tribune. Ironically, it concerned the popularity of hamburger meat in the Rio Grande Valley. One of the photos considered by Tribune editors to accompany her story was one of the dwarfish Chapa fondling a pound of fresh, room-temperature meat.
Doctors say they also may consider a mastectomy, with Toni Chapa then being fitted with a prosthesis (fake breast). The operation would not cost prisoner Chapa a penny because it would be performed by government doctors at a government facility, such as a VA hospital.
The same doctors said they made no promises as to whether Chapa would survive the surgery, a point lauded by a small crowd of anti-Chapa Patriots who applauded at hearing the comment via a loudspeaker set on a wall outside the detention center.
"Chapa is an illegal!" they crowed for long minutes. "Back to Mexico for Chapa!!! Send Chapa back!"
Chapa, however, is from Guatemala...

Wow, this poor woman, with such a horrible name. It sounds like the looney, who runs a blog in harlingen, some guy name Jake, was writing nasty comments about your articles.
Who is this Jake, he speaks about nothing but homosexuality.
Toni Chapa, have the tumor removed than change your name to Antonia Chapis, or something like that. You were cursed when you were name like the owner of a rag line blog.

We have no idea how much wider their relatonship spans, but we do know that Jake often addresses the topic of homosexuality when blogging. I counted nine comments mostly from t/c and his three girlfriends. t/c is so desperate for comments, he makes up stories just to get some traction on his trashy blog.
He reminds me of a use car salesman. Him and girlfriends are trying to sell snake oil, but nobody is buying.
Kermit Perez, how are you going to deal with Toni Chapapote? He is bashing the Tribune.
Can you believe this clown, he has invited women to write comments about your articles on his web-site. I am a woman and I can speak for myself. The comments on this blog, or written for discussion, I don't think they are personal.

Wishing all the best to Toni in her struggle and not wanting to minimize her plight, I must borrow this space for a moment to speak on another matter. It seems that silly Tony Chapa claims that I have been denied on this site by Patrick. I suppose that he thinks that Patrick, being busy in his travels, won't have the time or interest to respond to his pesky little jabs (especially when Tony's only proof of his claim is from something written by Kermit, the interim editor). But I know that even though Kermit is perfectly capable of ripping Tony a new one all by himself, I'm worried that when Patrick hears that not only is Tony incapable of writing intelligibly but also completely bereft of reading and comprehension skills, Patrick will lose all patience with him and proceed to hoist him on his own petard (calm down Jake, I know you get all excited by the thought of sharp, shiny, pointed things and that's why you start drooling when Tony reaches down and pats you on the head- your own little sharp, shiny, pointed thing). I'm calling on both Kermit and Patrick to remember that, especially in this season of peace on earth, that we must be kind to those of limited stature and intellect and make allowances for the sad, failed lives they have lived. If nothing else, you have to feel some pity for a man who has no other friend than Jake, and we all know that having Jake as a friend is worse than having no friend at all. Peace out. M

Can you believe this, only Jaky, Renne, and Judy are responding to his sick plea. Viejo loco, le esta fallando la mente. One of his girlfriends is beggining to sound more and more homo. She knows, who she is. It seems like he uses that word, homosexuality, everytime she/he opens their mouth. Puro low-lifers, todos.

The true story of how Tony Chapa became Toni Chapa.
On the local level, prior to his/her arrest, Toni/Tony Chapa had recentky agreed to become the Chief Code Ranger and Block Captain Informant for the City Manager and the new national FBI snoop machine. Chapa learned his/her trade as a block captain in Havana, Cuba for the communist regime of Fidel Castro. He/she fled Cuba when some of his victims threatened to string him up for informing. He/she next went to Venezuela and worked for the Chavez communists and once again he/she was captured by an irate mob that he had informed on. They tarred and feathered him/her and ran him/her out of town on a rail. From there he/she made his/her way to Guatemala where he/she sold fuller brushes and condoms door to door. After failing in that career he/she made his/her way to Matamoros where he/she worked briefly as a boy prostitute on the street. Having no customers he/she decided to illegally cross the border into Harlingen, Texas where he/she convinced a local unlicensed doctor to give him/her a botched sex change operation. He/she became a she and changed his name from Tony, to Toni. He/she started a local blog which eventually failed and them he/she was arrested by immigration and placed in the detention center as a cook just after being named the new Chief Code Ranger/Informant for the city of Harlingen.
