BROWNSVILLE, Tx - After weeks and weeks of being asked to float this newspaper, we have decided that, yes, the time has come to go to the mat for a people long-oppressed by life itself. And so it is with the eternal hopes and dreams of an entire border community that we today launch this online newspaper.

Corruption is a profession we've studied. Wife-beating will be something new. As for food, well, we're renowned fans of the illustrious Mexican taco. So buckle-up and grab a bag of popcorn for this long and winding road trip across a geography better suited for snakes, scorpions, buzzards and lizards.
.
May God save us all...
